Bannockburn is well known for producing some of Victoria’s finest produce including Bannockburn premium free range chicken.  Bannockburn chickens are processed without chemicals using the European Standard of “Air Chilling”. Unlike other chicken products on the market which are processed in spin-chillers filled with cold water and chlorine (a process that alters appearance, texture and taste), Bannockburn Free Range chickens travel along a refrigeration line and are chilled with cool, natural air until the deep muscle temperature is 0 degrees Celsius.
